Cenote Kankirixche
Cenote Kankirixché is a semi-open cenote that is discovered little by little: first you go down a ladder surrounded by rock and roots, and at the end a turquoise and totally clear water awaits you. It has an approximate size of 25 meters long by 15 wide, with shallow areas for swimming and a bottom that reaches more than 50 meters, ideal for those looking to go a little further. It is a cool, silent and powerful place, where time feels different and it is easy to imagine how this cenote was part of Mayan life for centuries. Its name means "yellow fruit of the tree", a simple detail that recalls its connection with nature.

Location
It is located in the municipality of Abalá, Yucatán, approximately 1 hour south of Mérida, heading towards the Uxmal area.
